At the heart of every home transformation is a vision—an idea that begins long before the first wall is opened or the first material is selected. For Andrea Jeffery, founder of Jeffery Design Studio, that vision has always been about creating spaces that improve the way people live.
Today, that vision is evolving into its next chapter.
Jeffery Design Studio is proud to announce its transition to JDS Design Build, a natural progression that brings both design and construction together under one unified team.
For years, Jeffery Design Studio has been known for thoughtful design, creativity, and a client-first approach to residential remodeling. Andrea built the studio with a simple belief: great design should not only look beautiful—it should work beautifully for the people who live in the space.
But over time, Andrea saw an opportunity to improve the experience even further.
“Designing incredible spaces is only part of the journey,” Andrea explains. “What truly matters is helping clients move from the first spark of an idea all the way through construction and completion—with clarity, trust, and a team that understands the vision from day one.”
That belief inspired the expansion into JDS Design Build.
By integrating design and construction under one roof, the team can now guide homeowners through the entire process—from concept and planning to construction and final walkthrough—while maintaining the same thoughtful attention to detail that has defined the studio since its beginning.
This evolution has also led to significant growth for the company. As JDS Design Build expanded its services, Andrea has built a team of experienced professionals across both design and construction disciplines. The growing team brings together designers, project managers, and skilled construction specialists who share a commitment to craftsmanship, communication, and delivering exceptional results for homeowners.
To support this growth, the company has also expanded its physical footprint, moving into larger offices with dedicated warehouse space. This allows the team to better manage materials, staging, and project logistics—creating greater efficiency throughout the remodeling process and helping ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.
The change is more than a new name. It represents the next stage of growth for the team and their commitment to delivering a seamless remodeling experience.
JDS Design Build continues to focus on high-end residential remodeling, helping homeowners transform kitchens, bathrooms, and entire homes into spaces that reflect how they want to live today.
The company has also earned recognition for its work, including features in Architectural Digest, Destination SF and awards in East Bay Times’ Best of the East Bay, further affirming the studio’s dedication to design excellence.
But for Andrea, the most meaningful part of the work has always been the people.
“Every project represents a family trusting us with their home,” she says. “That’s something we never take lightly. Our goal has always been to make the process inspiring rather than overwhelming, and JDS Design Build allows us to support our clients even more fully.”
As the company grows, Andrea remains focused on the same values that started it all: collaboration, creativity, craftsmanship, and a deep respect for the homes and families they serve.
JDS Design Build marks an exciting new chapter—but the heart of the company remains the same.
And for Andrea Jeffery and her team, the mission continues to be simple:
Design beautifully. Build thoughtfully. Create spaces that truly feel like home.
Your home — or workspace — deserves a team that listens, collaborates, and delivers. From first sketch to final walkthrough, JDS Design Build turns ideas into spaces that inspire and endure.
